Survival mode – Survival Skills and Emergency Kits

Most of us would agree that at any time we find ourselves in a disaster or other emergency. Even if this fact lies only in the back of your mind just below consciousness, the statement is no less true. Anyone can suddenly get stuck in an emergency or disaster you land squarely on them unexpectedly. How well one survives or if one survives it may be a question of luck. Far better to invest time and effort in preparation for survival.

Survival readiness for the purpose of this article is not a call to be constantly afraid of impending doom and disaster lurking around every corner, or to accumulate large caches of dried beans, MREs, bullets and gold after Democrat down his hiding place in some remote area.

In any emergency strives to remain calm. Use your mind. This is one of your best tools for survival.

Initiative belongs to the individual. Make time and effort prudent preparations for their own survival and that of others. Do not risk suffering the consequences of taking no action at all.

Survival after all is to be alive at the end of the trial.
